This case presents an issue of first impression in Florida and, so far as we have been able to determine, rarely raised in other jurisdictions. It is different from West v. Caterpillar Tractor Company, Inc., 336 So.2d 80 (Fla.1976), which is the case in which Florida adopted the doctrine of strict liability.
