CHIN, District Judge.

On January 10, 1997, a jury returned a verdict in this case in favor of plaintiff Samara Brothers, Inc. ("Samara") against defendant Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. ("Wal-Mart").1 The jury found that Samara owned 13 valid copyrights, that Wal-Mart infringed all 13 of those copyrights, and that Wal-Mart did so wilfully.
