In this products liability action brought against cigarette manufacturers and sellers, plaintiffs have appealed a judgment by the trial court, which granted defendant's motion for partial summary judgment, and ordered that all claims in this suit are to be governed by the Louisiana Products Liability Act ("LPLA"), La. R.S. 9:2800.51 et seq. Because the judgment appealed was an interlocutory ruling, this court converted the appeal to a writ application...
