Defendants-appellants Victor Monay and Jonathan Pila (collectively, Defendants) appeal from the circuit court's order denying their joint motion to suppress evidence and from their respective judgments of conviction. Defendants argue that the circuit court improperly denied their motion to suppress because police: (1) failed to expressly "demand entrance" in violation of Hawaii's search warrant knock and announce statute, Hawai`i Revised Statutes...
