Appellant was indicted for the offense of theft alleged to have occurred on June 23, 1993. Appellant pleaded not guilty. After a finding of guilt by the jury, the trial court assessed punishment at ten years' confinement in the Institutional Division of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice and ordered restitution in the amount of $1,800.
