YOUNG, Justice:

Appellant David Alan Statz pleaded guilty to murder and larceny from the person not amounting to robbery pursuant to a plea bargain in which the state "stipulated" to a sentence of life imprisonment with the possibility of parole for the murder and a concurrent sentence for the larceny.
