This is an appeal over the proper construction of pollution exclusion provisions in general liability insurance policies issued to E.I. du Pont de Nemours and Company. The Superior Court held that pollution claims against DuPont at specified sites are excluded from coverage because the discharges of pollutants were not "sudden," "accidental," or "unintended and unexpected."
