Appellant Daimion Demon Osby was convicted of capital murder for killing two unarmed men who were—at the time of the shooting—being held back by his friends. Osby confessed to shooting both victims and does not challenge the sufficiency of the evidence to support his conviction. Rather, his appeal centers around his claim of self-defense.
