Lonezo and Cynthia Peete, husband and wife, were found guilty by a jury of workers' compensation fraud, a violation of Ark.Code Ann. § 11-9-106(a)(1) (Repl.1996) and a class D felony, for which they both received sentences of four years and eight months in prison. On appeal, appellants mount separate challenges to the sufficiency of the evidence to support their convictions, and they both contend that the trial court erred in denying their motion...
