Jeffrey L. Evans appeals his convictions of first degree murder, armed robbery with a deadly weapon and burglary of a dwelling. He alleges that the trial court erred by denying his motion in limine to suppress his statement made upon his arrest that "I knew I was going to get caught" on the grounds that the statement was in reference to an outstanding North Carolina warrant and was not made with reference to the crimes charged in the instant...
