The accident which gave rise to plaintiff's cause of action resulted when a party barge and trailer came loose from its tow truck, crossed the center line of the roadway, collided with a Lincoln Town Car driven by plaintiff, and proceeded thereafter to strike a second vehicle. Numerous defendants were named in the ensuing litigation; however, by the midpoint of the trial, all claims had been settled with the exception of plaintiff's product...
