McCLANAHAN v. STATE

No. 96-01608.

697 So.2d 930 (1997)

Jodi McCLANAHAN, Appellant, v. STATE of Florida, Appellee.

District Court of Appeal of Florida, Second District.

July 30, 1997.

Attorney(s) appearing for the Case

James Marion Moorman, Public Defender, and Timothy J. Ferreri, Assistant Public Defender, Bartow, for Appellant.

Robert A. Butterworth, Attorney General, Tallahassee, and Johnny T. Salgado, Assistant Attorney General, Tampa, for Appellee.

PARKER, Chief Judge.

Appellant, Jodi McClanahan, appeals her conviction for trafficking in methamphetamine and unlawful possession of a driver's license, arguing that the trial court erred in denying her motion to suppress evidence. We agree and reverse because the warrantless search of McClanahan's residence did not meet the customary search and seizure standards established under article I, section 12 of the Florida Constitution.
