OPINION

TAFT, Justice.

Appellant, Andrew Dwayne Burnett, pleaded guilty to the offense of aggravated robbery. The trial court found appellant guilty and assessed punishment at 40-years confinement. The important issue we address is whether appellant was deprived of counsel during the time he was required to file a motion for new trial so as to entitle appellant to another opportunity to file and seek a hearing on a motion for new trial.
