Scarlett DeHart sued Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., alleging that Blair O'Neal, a Wal-Mart pharmacist, negligently reported to police officials that Ms. DeHart might be attempting to obtain a controlled substance by using a fraudulently obtained prescription.
