Relator, Sarah Havely Edmondson, originally was charged by grand jury indictment with attempted first degree murder, a violation of LSA-R.S. 14:27 and 14:30. Subsequently, the indictment was amended to attempted second degree murder, a violation of LSA-R.S. 14:27 and 30.1; armed robbery, a violation of LSA-R.S. 14:64; and use of a firearm during the commission of a crime of violence, a violation of LSA-R.S. 14:95 E.
