Plaintiffs, Curtis C. Dyer, his wife, Madelene Dyer, their five children, and their grandchild (hereinafter collectively designated as "the Dyer family"), appeal a trial court judgment after a trial on the merits in favor of defendants, City of New Orleans and Police Officer William "Billy" Mims (hereinafter collectively designated as "the City"). We affirm.
