No. CA CR 97-67.

953 S.W.2d 588 (1997)

59 Ark.App. 39

David Shane HOLLOWELL, Appellant, v. STATE of Arkansas, Appellee.

Court of Appeals of Arkansas, Division III.

October 8, 1997.

Attorney(s) appearing for the Case

Gene Harrelson, Texarkana, for Appellant.

Winston Bryant, Atty. Gen., Kelly Terry, Asst. Atty. Gen., Little Rock, for Appellee.

JENNINGS, Judge.

David Shane Hollowell was convicted of two counts of second-degree battery for abuse of his seven-year-old step-daughter and was sentenced to six years on each count to be served consecutively. He appeals, arguing that the trial court erred in sustaining the prosecutor's objection to appellant's exercise of peremptory challenges during jury selection. We find no error and affirm.
