This appeal concerns the scope of insurance coverage for the loss at sea of 19 containers en route from Puerto Rico to Miami.1 The disputing parties are the two insurance companies that maintained insurance policies covering the shipper, Sea Barge, and the cargo-handling stevedore, Ayala.
