OPINION

AMIDEI, Justice.

Pending before the court is Appellant's Motion to Dismiss Limited Appeal pursuant to Rule 59(a)(1)(B) of the Texas Rules of Appellate Procedure. We grant the motion to dismiss.

On August 30, 1995, appellant, Timothy C. Casey, filed a petition for divorce from appellee, Elonic M. Casey. A new statute providing for spousal maintenance in limited circumstances became effective two days later, on September 1, 1995. TEX. FAM....
