Following a jury trial, defendant was convicted of voluntary manslaughter, M.C.L. § 750.321; M.S.A. § 28.553, and possessing a firearm during the commission of a felony, M.C.L. § 750.227b; M.S.A. § 28.424(2). Defendant was sentenced to five to fifteen years' imprisonment for the manslaughter conviction, to be served consecutively to two years' imprisonment for the felony-firearm conviction.
