HOLMAN, Justice.

A jury found Appellant Thaddeus Moyer guilty of aggravated kidnapping. See Tex. Penal Code Ann. § 20.04 (Vernon 1994 & Supp.1997). The jury heard evidence that Appellant kidnapped the female victim at gunpoint one night and took her to his home, where he forced her to submit to beatings, rape, and other sexual abuse by him and his wife.
