Corey Hopson (Hopson) was charged by bill of information with violating La.R.S. 40:967C, possession of cocaine. Hopson proceeded to trial before a jury of six. The jury returned with a unanimous verdict of guilty as charged. The trial court denied defendant's motion for a new trial and motion for post-judgment verdict of acquittal.
