OPINION

BRIGHAM, Justice.

Appellees John and Alison Fanning sued Appellants Paul and Mary Kessler for alleged misrepresentations regarding the condition of a house that the Kesslers sold to the Fannings. A jury found that the Kesslers violated provisions of the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices-Consumer Protection Act (DTPA) by engaging in a "false, misleading, or deceptive act or practice that was a producing cause of damages" to the Fannings.
