The United States appeals from the trial court's decision to suppress showup identifications of Rodney Brown by two police officers.1 The government argues that the trial court applied the wrong legal standard, improperly determining whether the officers' identification testimony was sufficient, standing alone, to sustain a conviction, rather than deciding whether the identifications were constitutionally admissible...
