OPINION

DAVIS, Chief Justice.

Appellee, the Texas Department of Protective and Regulatory Services ("DPRS"), filed suit to terminate the parental rights of Appellant Darvin James Lucas with respect to his three children. As the sole ground for termination, DPRS alleges that Lucas has engaged in conduct or knowingly placed the children with persons who have engaged in conduct which endangers the physical or emotional well-being of the children.
