Plaintiff appeals the trial court's judgment of dismissal of his personal injury suit for hearing loss after being exposed to a prolonged fire alarm. Plaintiff sued Gevers Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. ("defendant"), the heating and air conditioning repair company which had triggered the alarm, and Honeywell, Inc. ("Honeywell"), the fire alarm provider. Defendant asserted that plaintiff's claim should be dismissed as its alleged negligence...
