The appellant, James D. Severa, M.D., owns Omaha Psychiatric Associates (OPA), a firm practicing in the mental health field. The appellee, Laura T. Neece, a psychologist, became associated with OPA under a written contract. The contract provided OPA would bill Neece's clients, collect fees she earned, and after withholding OPA's share, remit the balance to Neece at least monthly.
