AMIDEI, Justice.

Tyrone Willard Brownlee appeals his conviction by a jury for murder. The jury assessed his punishment at life imprisonment and a $10,000.00 fine, enhanced by one prior felony conviction. In four points of error, appellant contends: (1) the trial court erred in admitting appellant's statements to a court-appointed psychiatrist on cross-examination by the state; (2) the trial court erred in allowing the state to cross-examine appellant...
