Donald Edward Sealy was indicted on October 28, 1996, by the Lauderdale County grand jury in a three-count indictment, charging sexual abuse in the first degree, violations of § 13A-6-66, Code of Alabama 1975. The counts of the indictment are identical and charge Sealy with having sexual contact with his stepdaughter, J.M., he being over 16 years of age and J.M. being less than 12 years...
