Defendant Darren Earl Sanborn appeals his convictions, following a jury trial, for the crimes of third-degree burglary, Iowa Code § 713.6A (1995), and possession of a firearm by a felon, Iowa Code § 724.26. His appeal focuses on the firearm possession charge.
