OPINION

FLANDERS, Justice.

This is an insurance-coverage dispute involving insurers whose policies contain underinsured-motorist provisions with conflicting "other insurance" clauses. Rather than struggle to untie the Gordian Knot1 of coverage created by these "other-insurance" clauses, we endeavor yet again to cut it by adopting a rule calling for the pro-rata apportionment of liability among the various insurers...
