This case concerns a declaratory ruling by the Industrial Commission (the Commission) relating to workers' compensation medical benefits. We conclude that the Commission was correct in declaring that under the circumstances of this case the surety is not required to make direct payment to a provider of medical services, and that the claimant's attorney is entitled to a lien against the medical benefits awarded to the worker.
