Appellant Kerrigan, a former employee of Britches of Georgetowne, Inc. (Britches), brought suit against his former employer asserting causes of action for (1) discrimination, (2) defamation, (3) breach of the covenant of good faith and confidentiality, (4) intentional infliction of emotional distress, and (5) negligence.
