RICKHOFF, Justice.

Allen H. Bell appeals from a summary judgment granted in favor of appellee State Farm Lloyds Ins. Co. ("Lloyds"). Arguing he was confused by State Farm's letterhead, Bell sued "State Farm Insurance Companies" within the limitations period as a "group of affiliated insurance companies" but failed to serve Lloyds.
