A jury awarded Terry Priddy $50,000 in damages for an injury negligently inflicted by an employee of Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Memphis, Tennessee (Coca-Cola). On appeal, Coca-Cola argues that the trial court erred when it refused to instruct the jury on Priddy's duty to use ordinary care to mitigate her damages. We affirm the trial court's ruling.
