Appellant Brian S. Kelley appeals his felony conviction for first degree assault claiming that the State failed to present sufficient evidence that he acted knowingly in causing or attempting to cause serious physical injury to the victim, Travis Jacobs. He also argues that the trial court abused its discretion in allowing Detective Jeffery Moreland to testify about Mr. Kelley's statement that he had previously hit other people on the head...
