Appellants, M. Stanley Corbitt and Thomas N. Young (the "Officers"), Temple police officers, appeal a trial court judgment denying relief sought under the Civil Service Act. See Tex.Loc.Gov't Code Ann. §§ 143.001-. 313 (West 1988 & Supp.1997) (the "Civil Service Act").
