[¶ 1] The employee, Barbara Bossie, appeals from a decision of the Workers' Compensation Board granting her petition for award. Concluding that neither of the first three methods for computing the average weekly wage in 39-A M.R.S.A. § 102(4)(A), (B) & (C) (Supp.1997), could be fairly applied, the Board purported to apply subsection 102(4)(D) by dividing her yearly earnings by 52.
