A jury convicted Appellant Felicia Ann Mendoza of aggravated robbery and assessed her punishment at twenty-five years' imprisonment in the Institutional Division of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice and a $1,000 fine. See Tex.Pen.Code Ann. § 29.03 (Vernon 1994). She appeals on two points, asserting that her trial counsel rendered ineffective assistance and that the trial court improperly denied her motion...
