TOMLJANOVICH, Justice.

Appellant Jason Michael Ives challenges his conviction of two counts of murder in the first degree on the grounds of prosecutorial misconduct and ineffective assistance of counsel. Although we conclude that the prosecutor's reference to Ives' character during closing arguments amounted to prosecutorial misconduct, we hold that such misconduct was not so prejudicial that it denied Ives a fair trial.
