Raymond Hidalgo, Jr. was originally charged as a juvenile offender. The juvenile court waived jurisdiction and transferred the case to an adult court where Hidalgo was indicted for the offense of attempted capital murder. Hidalgo pleaded not guilty and the case was tried to a jury. The jury found Hidalgo guilty as charged and assessed punishment at 50 years confinement in the Institutional Division of the Texas Department...
