In Gautreaux v. Scurlock Marine, Inc., 107 F.3d 331 (5th Cir.1997) (en banc), we signaled a sea change in our Court's Jones Act jurisprudence. The present appeal arises from a maritime injury case tried under pre-Gautreaux standards of Jones Act negligence.
