Defendant, Falisha Carter, was charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver (720 ILCS 570/401(a)(2)(D) (West 1994)) and controlled substance trafficking (720 ILCS 570/401.1 (West 1994)). Following a bench trial, she was convicted for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and sentenced to 15 years' imprisonment.
