Alvis Fitzgerald Timmons, the appellant, was convicted by a jury in the Circuit Court for Cecil County of possession of cocaine and wearing, carrying, or transporting a handgun. The court imposed consecutive prison sentences of seven years for possession of cocaine and three years for the handgun violation. It also ordered appellant to pay a $1,000.00 fine.
