Appellant Leamon Ashe was found guilty by a jury of theft of property and sentenced as an habitual offender to thirty years in the Arkansas Department of Correction and fined $5,000. A motion for judgment NOV, for new trial, and for reduction of sentence was filed, and on December 13, 1995, the trial court entered an order denying appellant a new trial but reducing his sentence to fifteen years with credit for time served.
