HOUSTON, Justice.

Robert Howard, Jr., pleaded guilty to, and was convicted of, robbery in the second degree. The trial court sentenced him to 15 years in prison. The Court of Criminal Appeals reversed and remanded, holding that the trial court lacked jurisdiction to accept Howard's guilty plea as to the offense of robbery in the second degree when the State had indicted him on charges of robbery in the first degree.
