A jury found the appellant, Bruce Lee Rowbottom, guilty of several crimes relating to possession of drugs and firearms. As a habitual offender, Rowbottom was sentenced to a concurrent term of forty-five years' imprisonment. Rowbottom represented himself at trial with the assistance of a standby attorney appointed by the court.
