Late in 1993, Thomas L. Mize twice visited Stanley Naramore, D.O., complaining of back pain. Dissatisfied with the outcome, Mr. Mize and his wife sued Dr. Naramore and the hospital he worked for, alleging that Dr. Naramore's treatment left Mr. Mize a virtual cripple with an equally debilitating drug dependency.
