Defendant appeals his conviction for possession of a controlled substance. ORS 475.992. He was convicted after a trial to the court and assigns error to the trial court's failure to obtain a written waiver of his right to trial by jury as required by ORS 136.001 and Article 1, section 11, of the Oregon Constitution.
