After a bench trial, respondent, T.S., was found guilty of robbery (720 ILCS 5/18-1 (West 1994)), adjudicated a delinquent, and committed to the Juvenile Department of Corrections. On appeal, respondent asserts that (1) he was denied a fair trial because the trial court explicitly based its guilty finding on non-existent evidence; (2) he was denied a fair trial because the trial court improperly used impeachment testimony...
